Oscar Martinez Heredia is best known for his expressive psychological and emotional portraits of people. His art has been showcased in more than 30 exhibitions, most recently in San Miguel de Allende at the Chapel of Jimmy Ray Gallery, Galeria OMO, and "Belles Artes" (Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez "El Nigromante"). His drawings and paintings reside in private collections in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Denmark, and France.  His artistic inspirations range from the Old Masters and mid-20th century Mexican muralists to the Expressionists, Surrealists, and contemporary illustrators. Oscar lives in San Miguel de Allende with his wife and 2 children. ​
